Louloudadika Flower Market
The Louloudadika of Thessaloniki is a small area in the city center. In the early ’50s, the Florists’ Association reached an agreement with the then Minister of Northern Greece, Iasonidis, to house its itinerant flower shops. It is bordered by the streets of Komninon, Frangini, and Vasileos Irakliou, taking its name from the open-air flower shops located there. Also located there is the Baths – Yahudi Hamam (of the Jews), or Pazar Hamam (of the market), as well as grocery stores, restaurants, cafes, etc. In close proximity are the Modiano and Kapane markets.
